Quality assurance

Man in headlamp and gloves seals large white industrial duct.

Our quality assurance follows internationally recognised standards and regulations. Every product is designed to deliver consistent and long-lasting performance.

This is made possible by our many years of experience in GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) manufacturing and our ongoing commitment to improvement.

The Quality Management System at Kurotec covers all areas of production. It also includes product development and optimisation in close cooperation with our resin and glass fibre suppliers.

Scope of inspection

Inspection of raw materials

Testing and subsequent release for production

Strength testing of finished products

Visual inspection and dimensional checks of finished products

Hydrostatic testing

Acoustic emission testing

Ensuring product identification and traceability

  • Tensile and bending tests (DIN EN 14125)
    Styrene content measurement (DIN 53394)
Glass content determination (DIN EN 1172)
    24-hour biaxial creep test

Our GRP testing procedures verify both mechanical and chemical compliance with applicable DIN and EN standards:

  • Shear adhesion strength (DIN EN 13121-3)
Circumferential shear strength (DIN EN 53769-A)
Axial tensile test (DIN EN 53766 Part 1)
Segment shear test (DIN EN 53769-B)

Liner and GRP tests focus on bonding quality and structural durability to ensure long-term performance:
