Hand-lay-up parts are not precision items; allow ± 2 mm. Precision can be achieved by mechanical re-work.
The main difference lies in the structure and the glass fiber content of the load-bearing laminate. Type K pipes contain less glass fiber but
compensate with increased wall thickness. This reduces internal stress and extends service life.
